What I Wore: New Orleans
FINALLY! My New Orleans outfits post! This post is obviously well overdue as I’ve been back from New Orleans for over a month now! Time has really been getting the best of me but I’m working on getting everything back on track, starting with some new blog posts!
It was my first time ever in Louisiana and I truly was not prepared for that kind of heat, but we made it work!
DAY ONE
Romper | Shoes | Purse | Sunglasses
Day one was a scorcher! We took our first day to explore the city while stopping at interesting bars along the way. My favorite was the bar we found on one of those famous NOLA balconies! I had no idea what to expect when we booked this trip and after day one, I was completely in awe.
DAY TWO
Dress | Shoes | Hat | Purse
One of my favorite summer dresses ever! It was perfect for day two in NOLA, it’s super breezy and light so it was perfect for the Louisiana humidity. This day we went to brunch at Flamingo A Go Go and had bottomless mimosas, so I was even more happy to be in a flowy dress after all that!
After brunch we even made our way to the American Horror Story: Coven house, looked just as creepy and amazing as I hoped!
DAY THREE

Our last day in New Orleans was super relaxing, as was the whole trip. We just explored more of the city and stopped at little boutiques all day long, it was perfect! We were both sad to leave but honestly already down for another NOLA trip!!!
This was Taylor and I’s first trip since getting back together and it definitely brought us closer together. We had so many plans of doing different tours but there was so much to do and see around the city that we didn’t get around to doing any of those excursions. Next time!
