Big Bear Lake
Last week I was invited on a spontaneous trip to Big Bear which I absolutely could not turn down!
All my friends know I’ve been dying to visit but have never gotten the opportunity to go! When I got that last minute text about the trip, I quickly ran to Urban to pick out some winter clothing, packed everything up & was on the road within the hour!

I was so excited to head to Big Bear to switch up my scenery and get a little taste of what REAL winter is like, not our super mild LA winters. That’s why I love California so much, just a 2 hour drive and you’re up in the mountains with the snow!
We had just one full day there so we spent the entire afternoon (the day after we drove in) shooting different outfits around the cabin. Here are all my winter looks!
HOW FUN ARE THESE EAR MUFFS?!
I don’t know the last time I wore a pair, but wow am I obsessed now! This is such a typical look for me, with the added winter accessories. Sadly the scarf I’m wearing is sold out online, so I linked some other cute scarves for a similar look!
I went for some super cabin-y vibes with this look. My sweater definitely looks like one you’d find in your grandparents’ closet but in a fun, trendy way… right? Undetermined but I still thought it was cute.
LOVED this casual/comfy/cute look, I went for a black on black outfit to contrast the white snow and I love the way these photos turned out. Although it was cold outside, it was still mild enough where I felt comfortable and warm in just my leggings and the cozy pullover.
Last outfit of the day! I borrowed my friend Cait’s sweater for this one, it was soooo cozy and really fit the cabin vibes! I absolutely loved the oversized plaid print on the sweater.
We were up there for probably only 48 hours but it was such an amazing and fun trip! The cabin we were at was massive and stunning, thanks to Destination Big Bear! I’m so happy I finally got to make the trip and get a little mini winter getaway before the season is over.
