My 2019 Goals

I don’t know how it happened, but here we are in 2019. I have such a great feeling about this year and I’m SO excited to get it started! I thought I’d start the new year off by sharing some of my goals, let me know in the comments some of YOUR goals!

It’s no surprise to anyone that in the last couple years, the growth of my channels have slowed down significantly. Last year it really brought me down and discouraged me, but this year I really want to use that to empower me to work harder. I’m so blessed to have this as my job and I really just want to work on finding my love for it again.

If 2018 taught me anything, it’s that I deserve a whole heck of a lot more than I’ve accepted in the past. This year is going to be different. I feel so self aware at this point in my life that I know exactly what I deserve and what I’ll put up with from now on. Whether this is in relationships, friendships, work life, etc… I will no longer settle for average.

I did a pretty good job of this last year (check my 2018 recap), but I want to travel even MORE in 2019. Ideally I’d love to travel somewhere at least once a month. This could even be a quick road trip for the weekend, just anything to get me out of my regular routine and mindset! Traveling has always motivated & inspired me, so I definitely want to make it more frequent this year.

In the last few months of 2018 I got super inspired to start creating more merch for you guys and I want to carry that out in the new year! Coming out with merch was super intimidating to me for the longest time, I had such anxiety that I’d create something and nobody would like it. I’ve come to realize that not everybody will like everything you do, so you have to do what makes YOU happy and create things that YOU like! I’d ideally like to release something every other month! Let the brainstorming begin…!!!

This is such a basic goal, but I really need to work on it this year! It’s so easy for me to let the plates pile up in my sink, or leave my clothes all over the floor for WEEKS (ew lol). I don’t want to carry this habit into 2019! I really want to work on putting things away and not letting them pile up to the point where my apartment looks like a homeless person lives in it. I’ve gotten better at this throughout the years but I hope to keep improving!

Something that’s been discussed for the last year or so is starting a podcast with my best friend, Jill. Maybe this will be the year?

The final thing I want to work on is to stop comparing myself to others as much. It’s so easy to get caught up in comparison these days. This doesn’t even have to just be about appearances, it can also be the success of others around us. It’s so easy to forget that everything we see on social media is just the highlight reel. Very rarely do people get to see the hard times people go through, because odds are they aren’t posting it. Everyone struggles with insecurities and hardships. We’re all on our own individual paths!

Happy new year guys, let’s make it the best yet! XO
